Magic and Such
Magic is a day to day thing here on Unknown. Magic governed the birth of Unknown, and shall continue to do so.
Ranks
The ranks go like this, from lowest to highest:
Apprentice Journeyman Master Sage
Apprentice is what everyone starts off with. Then slowly, one can advance (i.e. buy the next level >.<). Sage is the highest, but even that is nothing compared to the Gods and Goddesses, who are at a higher level than others, them being Firstborn. The Dreamweaver, however, has the highest level of power, so much that even the Firstborn cannot surpass her. The Secondborn, the Mortals, they are not born with any power unless inherited from parents.
Powers
The four basic powers are: Water Fire Earth Air
The special powers include: Darkness Light
Other powers connected to them are: Water: Blood Bending, Breathe Underwater Fire: Acid Tears, Induced Explosion Earth: Geo Mimicry, Plant Manipulation Air: Aura Sense, Bolt Breath Darkness: Invisibility, Shadow Control, Nightmare Manipulate Light: Teleportation, Night Vision
Apprentice Water: Whip: You are able to create a small whip made out of water. It is heavy, and when it comes into contact with something, it will dissolve. Pellets: You are able to create small water droplets which act like bullets, but are not lethal.
Apprentice Fire: Whip: You are able to create a small whip of fire. It is heavy, and will not work in rain. It will disappear the moment it comes into contact with something. Breath: You can breathe out fire from your mouth. The fire is small, and can only reach directly in front of you.
Apprentice Earth: Movement: You can move small rocks and throw them at an opponent. You can only control a few rocks at a time. Capture: You can catch opponents in rocks by covering their legs. The rock disappears after a few minutes, though, or when you break your concentration.
Apprentice Air: Wind: You are able to create small winds which are as sharp as blunt knives. They are not sharp enough to draw blood, but do hurt. Shield: You are able to create a small shield, big enough for only one. This shield will break after it protects you from one thing.
Apprentice Darkness: Shadows: You can control your shadow, making it go anywhere you choose. It can take hold of an opponent, but it will come back to you when your concentration breaks.
Apprentice Light: Beams: You can cause beams of light to hit your opponent, but it does not draw blood, though it still hurts.
Right now there are only Apprentice levels as this needs time. But Apprentice will do for now.
Special Powers and the powers connected to the basic and special powers are more expensive than the basic powers. You must have the basic/special power before you can receive the powers connected to them. Hope that makes sense ^_^
