Sabre
Seen 5 turnings Tennessee Walking Horse in shape Tobaino Skewbald in colour Light in alliance Stands 17 hands from the ground Personality: Sabre is an interesting character. He is light, but of course there are flaws in his persona. No one can be perfect, can they? He wants a simple life. He is always polite, noble and well spoken, presenting himself as a respectable stallion. He always tries to do the right thing; he does his best to help everyone out, whoever they might be and whatever they might be. However, he is a bit arrogant, a trait passed down from his mother. He likes to think he is not at all conceited or egoistical; it’s something that he has always been against. However, he had been raised that way, and can’t help being a bit haughty. Sabre hides it from himself. When he does feel he is superior over another, then he may speak to them patronizingly, while he won’t mean it. Sabre is uncomfortable with opening up much to others. He doesn’t have many secrets but those he does have he won’t give away freely. It’s almost like he superficially acts friendly and open, however he tends to close his true self up. Of course, he can bond and love, he just struggles to get that far. Generally, he has one or two true friends and a group of other horses he is friendly towards but not willing to tell all. He will jump to help others, but this is just as much because he wants to be kind as he is. Sabre is very protective too, maybe overly possessive. He will defend what’s his in a moment. He does feel hate, and unlike a lot of lights doesn’t think that those who have done wrong always deserve a second chance; he is aggressive and hostile towards darks and doesn’t trust them at all. Sabre has nothing against fighting; he will leap into a fight without a moment’s hesitation if he feels it is necessary. For example, he will fight for land and mares, and just if someone pisses him off. Understand that despite these traits, Sabre is a light at heart, just secretly arrogant and perhaps slightly unstable and not the stereotype light. History:There is nothing that extraordinary in Sabre’s past. He was born to a well-off herd, with his dam a respected member of the group. She was a bit a haughty, with a patronising undertone when speaking to those she considered below her. She taught him to act the same; superficially noble and polite. She forbade him from socialising to those less highly regarded than themselves. The mare was definitely no dark, just picky about friends and arrogant; that didn’t make her terrible. Still, Sabre understood and disapproved of the way his mother behaved, and promised not to act or think that way himself when he was older; however, it was a habit that was never completely erased. He left with a bachelor herd at two, like most horses. At three he gathered himself a group of mares and a small territory. Nothing out of the ordinary happened for the next year or two of his life; he fought for mares, gaining and losing them, he grazed, sired several foals. When Sabre was nearly five, he lost his mares and territory in a fight. Disgruntled and unhappy that he had lost his simple life, he entered Unknown seeking a new one.
